Story & Overview

Banished is a city-building strategy game where you manage a group of exiled travelers starting a new settlement. Your citizens are your most valuable resource—they are born, age, work, have families, and eventually die. Success depends on carefully managing food, housing, health, trade, and natural resources while surviving harsh seasons and disasters. There is no traditional money system; instead, resources are produced and traded with merchants to expand your settlement.
